Have fun learning how to “throw” on a pottery wheel with our professional instruction.
-
Students will learn basic wheel throwing techniques.
-
We begin by learning how to create bowls, cups, and cylinders.
-
Our classes are designed to introduce individuals to wheel throwing. In the first three weeks of the class, students will learn both “throwing” and “trimming” techniques. Then your work will be “bisque” fired. In the fourth class students learn the art of “glazing” their wheel thrown pieces.
-
If a student has previous experience our goal is to bring you up to the next skill level by improving upon your already ceramic knowledge.
