This is a Four-Week format. Classes meet once a week, for two and a half hours. Have fun learning how to “throw” on a pottery wheel with our professional instruction. Students will learn basic wheel throwing techniques. We begin by learning how to create bowls, cups, and cylinders. Our classes for beginners are designed to introduce individuals to wheel throwing. In the first three weeks of the class, students will learn both “throwing” and “trimming.” Then your work will be “bisque” fired.
Once your pieces are bisque-fired, you will learn how to “glaze” them. We have over 80 amazing stoneware glaze colors to choose from. All of our stoneware glazes are food safe, dishwasher safe, oven safe, and microwavable.
