Includes clay (up to + not to exceed 25 lbs.) glazes, firing, professional instruction, and use of all studio tools + equipment.

Monthly Class Format
Tuesdays: 6:00-8:30 pm
Next Classes begin: October 6, November 3 + December 1

This format is four-weeks. Classes meet once a week, for two and a half hours. Learn how to “throw” on a pottery wheel with our professional instruction; creating bowls, plates, cups, etc. And/or learn various hand building techniques such as “slab” and “coil” building methods.
Once your pieces are bisque-fired, you will learn how to glaze them. We have over 60 amazing stoneware glaze colors to choose from. All of our glazes are food safe, dishwasher safe, oven safe, and microwavable.
About the Instructor: Esther Alinejad has been teaching ceramics, and art for over 30 years. Esther received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and her MFA from the University of Arizona. She is an award-winning artist, and art instructor. She teaches full time throughout the year, and actively exhibits and sells her artwork.
Cost: $295 Includes everything, i.e., clay, firing, glazes, use of all studio tools, equipment, professional instruction, and a lot of fun!
If a student misses a class, it is the student’s responsibility to same schedule a make up class within the month of the absence. Missed classes do not roll-over into the following month. Sorry, no exceptions. Please Note: Student work left behind after 90 days will be discarded.
Date Night/Girl’s Night Out~ Held on Friday evenings from 6-7:00 pm individuals can attend a one-hour class and experience throwing on the wheel. Have fun learning how to create or ‘throw’ bowls on a pottery wheel. Then, we’ll fire and glaze them for you! Cost per person is $100. Break down: $65 per person, plus a $35 firing/glazing fee per person. A 50% deposit is due upon date confirmation/reservation. Space is limited to 5 per class. Gift Certificates Available~please note: Gift certificates purchased for classes are non-refundable.
Private Instruction Fee:
$110 per hour (material fees may apply)
Kiln Repair and/or Consultation:
$150 for a Kiln Consultation i.e., diagnose kiln issue and/or problem. Kiln Repair $195 to repair kiln. Additional cost for materials either ordered by you OR Clay Studio. Please call to schedule.
