ADULT CLASSES~ Come enjoy learning a new skill while having fun!

1 Month (Four 2.5 hour Classes) $265
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, OR Fridays
Includes clay (up to + not to exceed 25 lbs.) glazes, firing, professional instruction, and use of all studio tools + equipment.

Monthly Class Format

Tuesdays: 6:00-8:30

Next Classes begin:    November 5, December 3, January 7

Wednesdays:  10:30-1:00

OR   6-8:30 pm ~please note this evening class will begin starting in December

Fridays: 10:30-1:00

Next Classes begin:   November 1, December 6, January 3

This format is four-weeks. Classes meet once a week, for two and a half hours. Learn how to “throw” on a pottery wheel with our professional instruction; creating bowls, plates, cups, etc. And/or learn various hand building techniques such as “slab” and “coil” building methods.

Once your pieces are bisque-fired, you will learn how to glaze them. We have over 60 amazing glaze colors to choose from. All of our glazes are food safe, dishwasher safe, oven safe, and microwavable.

About the Instructor: Esther Alinejad has been teaching ceramics, and art for over 29 years. She received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and her MFA from the University of Arizona. Esther is an award-winning artist, and art instructor. She teaches full time throughout the year, and actively exhibits and sells her artwork.

Cost: $265 Includes clay, firing, glazes, use of all studio tools, equipment, professional instruction, and a lot of fun!

Absent?

If a student misses a class, it is the student’s responsibility to same schedule a make up class within the month of the absence. Missed classes do not roll-over into the following month. Sorry, no exceptions.

Please Note: Student work left behind after 90 days will be discarded.

Drop-In Class:
$135 per class

Attend one of our regularly scheduled adult classes for 2 hours and choose to either learn how to “throw” on the wheel, or hand-build a project with clay. Then return for a second class for 1 hour, and learn how to glaze your creations.

~We ask that you please call ahead to schedule a drop-in class.

Private Instruction Fee:
$95 per hour (material fees may apply)

Kiln Repair and/or Consultation:

$125 for a Kiln Consultation i.e., diagnose kiln issue and/or problem. Kiln Repair $195 to repair kiln. Additional cost for materials either ordered by you OR Clay Studio. Please call to schedule.

Studio/School Set Up Consultations:
$195 per hour
