Kids + Teens Creativity with Clay Classes

Designed for children and teens ages 5-15. Have fun learning how to “hand-build” projects such as slab cups, clay masks, name plaques, and more. Older students (8 yrs. and older) are able to learn how to “throw” on a pottery wheel. Clay Studio + Gallery Inc. provides a positive, creative, and non-competitive work environment.

Monthly Class Format

Cost: $210 per session

One four-week session (includes everything, i.e., clay, glazes, firing, use of all studio tools + equipment, and our professional instruction)

About the Instructor: Esther Alinejad has been teaching ceramics, and art for over 25 years. She received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and her MFA from the University of Arizona. Esther is an award winning artist, and art instructor. She teaches full time throughout the year, and actively exhibits and sells her artwork.

Saturdays from 10:30-12:30

Next Class Begins:   July 6, August  3, September 7

Kids Drop-In Class:

Cost: $95  Class fee includes clay, glazes, firing + professional instruction

Saturdays from 11:00-12:30

Attend one of our regular, weekly kids classes. Choose to EITHER learn how to throw on the wheel, OR how to create a hand-built project. Then return, and learn how to glaze your hand made creation(s).

Private Lessons:

Cost: $95 per hour (includes materials)

We offer private lessons for children, and teens. Students receive private instruction learning how to hand build with clay and/or wheel throw.

Important Details:

*If a student is absent for a class during a month session, they will need to attend a make-up class within the same month. Missed classes do not roll into the following month.
