Welcome to Clay Studio + Gallery!
Clay Studio + Gallery Inc. located in Thousand Oaks, CA specializes in teaching pottery classes for all ages. Clay Studio instructors Esther Alinejad and Ali Alinejad teach “Creativity with Clay” classes for ages 5-17, as well as Adult Pottery Classes. Have fun learning how to “hand build” with clay and/or learn how to “throw” on a pottery wheel. The classes are taught in a fun, non-competitive, supportive atmosphere.

Esther and I are going to create 12 totem sculptures with the first names of each victim from the Borderline shooting. Each sculpture will be approximately 8-12 feet tall stating the first name of each individual. On the back side of each sculpture there will be an homage to the particular victim which will include their story as well as their last name. The Memorial with all 12 individual sculptures will be installed on a 20 foot by 25 foot cement platform 8 inches thick. Surrounding the Memorial will be 8 cement benches creating a sitting, and contemplation area. The Memorial will take approximately 8-12 months to complete. Once completed the Memorial will be permanently installed in Thousand Oaks with the exact location to be announced.
Our community has suffered a terrible loss. The Memorial will honor these 12 victims and commemorate their lives. Upon completion there will be a dedication ceremony to honor the victims, their families, as well as our community. The funds collected will be used to create this Memorial. Any remaining funds upon completion, will be donated directly to the victims families.
Thank you for your support,
Esther and Ali Alinejad
